Poole youngsters compete indoors

Poole’s younger riders competed recently at the Little League indoor championships and do themselves proud

What a day it was…

Indoor Little League Cycle Speedway Championships – lots of emotions, fast-paced racing and big smiles on children’s faces.

First it started with U8 and U16 categories running alongside each other.

In U8s Adam Palka finished a very good 2nd (14pts) after a very intense run off.

Max Strong finished 4th (10pts) and Olivia Reeman a very well deserved 6th (6pts)

In U16s Jamie Randall 2nd (15pts) after a runoff. Natalia Palka 14th (8pts), Ava Chapman 17th (6pts) and Millie Shear 18th (5pts). Positions will not reflect the effort the girls put into racing today.

Then it was strait to U10s – girls and boys were run together with girls awarded separately. Emotions hitting the roof.

U10s boys – Jackson Chapman 10th(10pts), Adam Palka 11th(9pts), Max Strong 15th(6pts).

U10s girls – Tallulah Curtis 2nd(13pts), Tilly Shear 4th after run off (8pts), Olivia Reeman & Iris Randall 6th(5pts).

After that there was no minute to waste straight to Girls category:

Tallulah Curtis 4th  (13pts) Millie Shear 5th (12pts), Natalia Palka 8th (10pts), Ava Chapman & Tilly Shear 9th (9pts), Olivia Reeman 12th (7pts).

The last highlight of the day was Youngsters category.

Jamie Randall kept us on our toes to the and taking 1st position in runoff.

Tallulah Curtis, Natalia Palka and Jackson Chapman finished 15th (8pts).  Adam Palka and Tilly Shear 20th (5pts). Ava Chapman, Olivia Reeman and Millie Shear 22nd (4pts).

It was amazing to see so many riders racing with passion and pride sometimes outside of their comfort zones and usual categories. Well done all Riders you’ve been all amazing and make yourself and club proud.
