The twin spearhead of unbeaten Aaron Lowey and Daniel Pudney set the pace for another home SWL success and although league
honours are not within their sights, the team has certainly been more potent this season with a nucleus of experienced riders
to call upon.
After an opening salvo of maximum heat wins, the visitors held Poole to a 9 point margin at the half way stage with Dave
Murphy and Colin Simmons doing their best to stem the tide. A couple of tapes exclusions didn't help the home cause and as
the second half unfolded, the home advantage was consolidated with Luke Armes completing his best first team performance of
the season and Matt Chappell firing from the tapes once again.
There was a welcome return to the centre green for Kevin Randall who refereed his first match in several seasons.
