The long trip to Norfolk was rewarded with two Premier League points but the new look Poole team was made to fight in
the early stages as they adapted to the track. The youthful East Anglian team lead 30-28 after 6 heats but the Poole pairing
of Adam Peck and Andre Cross struck with a 7-2 in the next race and two further maximum heats followed. By half-time, a lead
of 11 points had been built up and this was consolidated after the break with all eight riders contributing to the victory.
Brad Hoppo rode well but a fall and an exclusion restricted his tally while Daniel Pudney conceded his only point to an opponant
in heat 18 when he sat in for a shared heat with team partner Andre Cross. Adam Peck had a very successful return to the Sea
View colours and like Daniel Pudney was only headed once in five rides.
Scorers: Adam Peck 18+1, Daniel Pudney 15+4, Andre Cross 14+2, Aaron Lowey 14 (4 rides), Mark Everingham 13+1, Chris
Roberts 12 (4 rides), Pete Young 10 (4 rides), Brad Hoppo 6+1 (4 rides).
Norwich 54 Poole 75 (British League Division 2)
Brian Holt topped the scorechart with his best team performance to date, having taken up the sport less than a year ago.
Ben Donnohue showed plenty of speed and Dave Murphy stretched his legs on a slightly lower key stage than seven days
ago when he took part in the Newport derby match.
Scorers: Brian Holt 15, Brad Hoppo 14+2, Ben Donnohue 14, Aaron Lowey 12+4, Luke Armes 10+2, Dave Murphy 10.
